I never used a control-mapping program before but heard Xpadder and Pinnacle Game Profiler (websites below) were pretty decent.
So when you're switching profiles, it'll automatically launch the game. For instance, once you've finished mapping your keys for a game, you can link that profile to the game. However PGP does have some advanced features that Xpadder doesn't have. It's quicker to map keys than PGP and it's got such a simple interface, it's like mapping keys for dummies.
